Xaphoon de Catalunya

The Xaphoon de Catalunya is the new Xaphoon developed by Brian Wittman in collaboration with Xaphoon Europe. It is made in northern Spain, about 80 km north of Barcelona, in the workshop of Francesc Sans Sastre, who specializes in the construction of traditional wind instruments. The wood for the instruments comes from the region. Mainly holm oak and olive tree wood is used for the construction. After the Maui Xaphoon and the Xaphoon Standard, this wooden Xaphoon is the third generation of Xaphoons developed specifically for the European market.
