The body of this djembe is hand-turned from mahogany wood and covered with goatskin using a multi-layered alpine nylon polyester string. On the belly of the drum there is a braided carrying handle and a tension cord reserve.

The wood is varnished for visual enhancement and protection against moisture, warping and dirt. This djemb? has no decorations. The beauty of the grain of the varnished wood alone speaks for itself.
