The tone hole mesh has been optimized across all clarinet models from the D12 to the D61. This ensures balanced intonation and a lighter blowing resistance. The modified positioning of the keys not only improves the fit of the keys on the body, but also guarantees optimum coverage of the tone holes. In addition to the optimized inner bore, which creates less resistance in the instrument and an even air flow thanks to the smooth transition from the lower bout to the cup, the new cup shape with thicker walls is primarily responsible for the fuller sound and greater projection. The overall package of predominantly acoustic innovations is visually rounded off by the perfected surface treatment, which brings out the fine wood grain of the new generation of W. Schreiber clarinets to optimum effect. The extensive further development of the German clarinet is another milestone in the development history of W. Schreiber instruments. - With the Bb clarinet D45 Virtuoso you get an instrument from W. Schreiber in the upper middle class. This clarinet was developed for the discerning musician. The Virtuoso clarinet D45 offers the musician in the semi-professional range  the possibility of using all the tonal and fingering advantages of a professional Volloehler clarinet. What is interesting about the Virtuoso clarinet is the very good price-performance ratio. - In addition, the D45 Virtuoso clarinet is equipped with a cup mechanism so that the pure tuning low E is significantly improved, which in turn means better intonation correction of the low notes.
