Meinl Wind Gong Yin & Yang 28' - Sonic Energy Series

The MEINL Wind Gongs are handmade from a special bronze alloy in the traditional way in China. They are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs. The shape is almost flat, so the vibration spreads extremely far with a long sustain. One sound characteristic is the predominantly low tones, but hissing overtones can also be achieved by playing more forcefully. Each gong is supplied with a matching mallet.

Yin & Yang represent harmony and balance.
They denote opposites that do not fight each other, but complement each other.
