Meinl Pure Alloy Quick Sand Hat 14' Benny Greb Signature

The Benny Greb Signature 14 Quick Sand Hats are inspired by the iconic jazz and funk cymbal sound of the 70s and 80s. Benny uses a combination of a Pure Alloy B12 bronze top and a B20 bronze bottom to achieve a perfect balance of clear stick definition, warmth and smoothness. Both cymbals are sandblasted to give them a pre-aged vintage character. The "Sound Notch" in the bottom cymbal prevents airlock and at the same time provides improved clarity and control. The Sound Notch is based on modified vintage cymbals used in the 70s and 80s.

Pure Alloy stands for clear, warm sound. The unique surface of the Pure Alloy cymbals ensures a timeless, versatile and assertive sound. The elaborate finish enables a wide tonal spectrum: shimmering sounds and clear sustain with a quick response for a wide range of styles at all volumes.

  • Size: 14'
  • Material: B12 bronze alloy top and B20 bronze alloy bottom
  • Hand and machine-hammered
  • Styles: pop, fusion, jazz, funk, studio
  • Dry, vintage sound
  • Medium-dark sound character
