One of the most important effects that shaped the unmistakable guitar sound of the 80s was undoubtedly the chorus.  The ability to make a simple clean sound beautiful, lush and ethereal was a milestone in music history. At that time, the devices were noisy, analog, signal-reducing pedals. Even though they sounded good.
Based on the idea of keeping the sound made famous by great devices like the Boss CE-1 and CE-2, we kept the circuit completely analog and worked to make the device super quiet, not reducing the signal in any frequency and having a better low-end response, which also makes it exceptional for basses.

Like all other Foxgear pedals, the Ballade has standard audio components in the audio path (no SMD) and is equipped with our own anti-pop relay-supported true bypass circuitry.
